OVERVIEW

About Wellzone

Wellzone is an advanced telehealth application using technology to let patients find and connect with healthcare specialist. It provides patients with naturopathic doctors, sleep therapists, holistic nutritionists, licensed dietitians, dermatologists, and therapists. Wellzone uses mobile internet technology, audio and video and live chat to connect the patients with the right healthcare provider with more convenient, more affordable and more applicable medical services.

Problem statement

Visiting doctors and specialist in person can be problematic due to time-consuming logistics, high costs, and the risk of contagious diseases in crowded waiting rooms. Additionally, rural and underserved areas often struggle with limited healthcare access. New graduates Doctores often lack hands-on experience compared to more seasoned doctors, which can make it harder for them to secure highly competitive roles

Why?

Simplifying technology for both patients and healthcare providers.

digital healthcare services increasingly depend on ux design to bridge the gap between technology and users.

he overarching aim here is to not only satisfy the existing user base but also to draw in new users by offering a telehealth experience that is as accessible, efficient, and enriching as possible. In this digital healthcare era, the user’s journey is paramount, and optimizing that journey begins with outstanding UX design.

What?

Simplicity with inclusivity.

Through UX implementation, our primary project focus centers on ensuring simplicity, usability, effective data management, and an inclusive design approach for the application.

USER PERSONA

Defining Our Users

The initial user persona list had a wide scope, so I refined it to include just one patient and one doctor. I aimed to establish this stage with precision to provide a clear reference point for evaluating future design choices. This was particularly crucial for an app that might cater to a broad audience, potentially reaching the entire population

1. Telehealth Accessibility for All Users

User-friendly platform that allows patients to consult with doctors and specialists remotely.

2. Affordable Healthcare Solutions

Incorporated cost-effective consultation options within the app, allowing users to compare healthcare providers based on pricing, expertise, and reviews. This ensures patients have access to affordable healthcare.

3. Healthcare Access for Rural and Underserved Areas

5. On-Demand Healthcare for Immediate Needs

Implement an on-demand healthcare feature where patients can quickly access specialists or general practitioners for urgent consultations. This reduces wait times for in-person appointments, giving users timely healthcare from the comfort of their homes.

6.Easy and Secure Payment System

Users can easily make payments for consultations, choose from various payment methods (credit cards, e-wallets, etc.), and manage billing history. Transparent pricing and secure transactions will enhance trust and provide convenience for both patients and healthcare providers.
